Clan Packaging Ltd was founded in 1985 as sole distributor for Universal Pack machines in the UK and Ireland. In a short period of time the UK became the largest single market for Universal Pack machines. By 1990 Clan Packaging Ltd were instigating and assisting Universal Pack with development of new types of machines, developing as well as servicing the UK market. Commercially, Clan Packaging Ltd are entirely independent of Universal Pack and the majority of machine sales and systems are planned and quoted in-house. The Clan Packaging Ltd Sales team have the backing of Universal Pack UK Ltd, a skilled team looking after the After Sales aspect of the company. In 1990 Clan Packaging Ltd expanded the operation into the overseas markets and again became market leaders in some South East Asian countries.
